Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kooch has chosen Rusko - Tru Powwa as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Kooch blocks the low kick.
Kooch misses with a looping right.
Kooch tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily
and Johnson counters with a nice leg kick.
Johnson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Kooch shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Kooch should have avoided that one.

Johnson darts in and clinches Kooch up against the cage.

Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kooch manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Kooch works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kooch drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Kooch off! Kooch jumps back into Johnson's guard.
Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kooch manages to get himself to full guard.

Kooch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kooch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kooch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top!

Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Kooch keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kooch has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Johnson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kooch has tightened it up now! Johnson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
