The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose shoots in and bounces Volodin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Volodin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Volodin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rose with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rose is in close to Volodin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rose postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Volodin is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Oh Volodin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rose stands up over Volodin, holding on to his feet. Rose throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Volodin is out cold! Rose lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kevin Rose!
A relieved looking Kevin Rose thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
