Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Cuddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Addell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John Addell dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Addell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cuddell paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cuddell drives through and clinches with Addell against the cage.

Cuddell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Addell just stands there and leans against the cage.

Addell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Addell shoots in and drives through. Cuddell sprawls well.

Cuddell has managed to clinch.

Addell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Addell wants to clinch.
Addell shoots in but no luck this time.
Adam Cuddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Addell.
Cuddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cuddell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Addell, pushing him back against the cage.

Addell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cuddell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Addell has managed to get both his arms back between Cuddell's legs - danger averted.

Cuddell wants to stand and escape but Addell is having none of it.

Cuddell tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Addell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cuddell's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Addell wants to pass the guard but Cuddell is defending well.

Cuddell looks like he's trying to stand up.

Addell decides to return to a standing position.
Cuddell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Addell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cuddell is controlling Addell's posture.
Addell pushes down on Cuddell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cuddell is pressing down on Addell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Addell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cuddell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Addell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Cuddell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Addell manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Cuddell will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Addell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Addell shoots in but Cuddell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cuddell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Addell avoids it really well and circles away.
Addell circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cuddell clinches with his opponent.
A frustrated look appears on Addell's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Addell has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cuddell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Cuddell tries to roll but Addell sticks to his back.
Cuddell breaks Addell's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Addell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cuddell stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Addell to get to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Addell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cuddell's waist but Cuddell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Addell off to one side.

I would just about give that final round to John Addell.
I think Addell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
