Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earth Quake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quake's entrance music is PRODIGY - RUN WITH THE WOLVES . A fine choice. Earth Quake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earth Quake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, David Kappa!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quake has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kappa finds it's way round the side to connect with Quake's head.


It looks like Earth Quake has been cut.
Quake misses with a body shot.
David Kappa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kappa digs a good hook to Quake's body.
Kappa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quake moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quake is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kappa.
Kappa scores with a leg kick.
Kappa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Quake's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Quake uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kappa.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kappa, right into the meat.
Kappa lands with a hook. Quake tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kappa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Quake doesn't seem bothered though.

Quake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kappa throws out the jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kappa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kappa showed some decent athleticism there.

Quake is looking to control Kappa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Quake avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quake is staying active underneath Kappa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Quake holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Kappa throws a front kick that sends Quake stumbling back into the cage.

Kappa's corner calls for a 1-2. Kappa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Quake fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kappa.
Quake on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
No joy there for Quake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Quake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quake wants it to stay on the feet.

Kappa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kappa lands in his opponent's guard.
Kappa throws a strike but Quake rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Quake controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Quake won't allow Kappa to sweep him here.
Quake pushes down on Kappa's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kappa wants to control but Quake is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Quake is trying to control the action in half guard but Kappa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Quake looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kappa tries to get to full guard but Quake has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Earth Quake has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Nice shot lands for Kappa.
Quake takes one to the chin there.


Earth Quake's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kappa shoots in looking for a takedown but Quake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kappa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Earth Quake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Kappa.

Quake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kappa moves away.
Kappa throws a wild body kick that Quake sees coming a mile off.

and Quake counters with a thumping low kick.
Nice straight punches there by Quake. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Quake.
Quake throws a low kick but Kappa moves out of range easily.

Quake tries to bum rush Kappa with a series of wild strikes but Kappa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kappa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kappa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Quake misses with a low kick.
Quake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kappa circles away quickly and effectively.
Kappa throws a right hand that misses
and Quake counters with a nice leg kick.
Kappa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kappa avoids the head kick by Quake.
Kappa throws a push kick but Quake slaps the foot to one side.
Quake jabs Kappa right on the nose. Kappa blinks but takes it well.
Quake closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kappa cracks the inside of Quake's front leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Quake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Quake looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kappa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quake.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Kappa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kappa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quake keeps working.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Earth Quake's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). David Kappa!
Post fight, David Kappa stared into the camera and said 'Who's next motherfucker!? Give me that Title Shot. That Belt belongs to The Green Beast! Nobody stopping me. '.
