The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gump throws out the jab.
Gump avoids the body shot from Boxer.

Boxer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Good leg kick by Boxer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boxer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gump manages to avoid it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forest Gump dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
