Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes to the cage accompanied by Town Called Malice. Proudstar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudstar takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A nice inside leg kick there by Proudstar. That's going to slow Thai down.
Proudstar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thai avoids it really well and circles away.
Thai jabs Proudstar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Thai throws a wild body kick that Proudstar sees coming a mile off.
Thai throws a body kick that misses.
Thai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thai drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thai tries a head kick but it misses.
Thai throws a head kick that misses.

Muay Thai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thai fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Proudstar is out of range.
Proudstar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thai connects with a right hand. Proudstar shakes it off.
Thai thows a body shot but no joy.
Thai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Proudstar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut.
Proudstar tries a head kick but it misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Proudstar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thai - the referee stops the clock and Proudstar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thai. Proudstar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Proudstar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thai.
Proudstar throws a looping overhand right but Thai ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Proudstar throws a head kick that misses
and Thai counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Thai lands a big head kick that sends Proudstar tumbling to the mat! Thai takes a step backwards and waves Proudstar back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Proudstar is rocked!
Thai throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Proudstar crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Muay Thai!
An out of breath Muay Thai thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
