Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between J Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breaker comes to the cage accompanied by Hustlin'. Ares has chosen r this town i 101 as his entrance music. J Breaker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Solomon Ares's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, J Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Ares!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Breaker thows a body shot but no joy.
Ares connects with a body shot.
Breaker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ares was well out of range. Poor timing from Breaker.
Breaker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ares moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Breaker moves away.
Ares avoids the body shot from Breaker.
Breaker scores with a jab to the body.

Ares shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ares was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ares postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Breaker looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ares throwing strikes here but Breaker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Breaker sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Ares is looking for a kimura but Breaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ares to get the leverage.
Breaker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ares drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Breaker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ares has Breaker in his guard.
Breaker tries to free his leg and advance position but Ares is retaining full guard.

Ares is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Breaker is aware though and is defending well.

Ares is looking for a triangle but Breaker pushes his legs off easily.
Breaker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ares looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Breaker controls from within his opponent's guard.

Ares manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ares prevents Breaker from getting the reversal.
Breaker holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ares tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Breaker is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ares looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Breaker wants to control but Ares is having none of it.
Ares throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Ares moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Breaker has worked his arm free - good work by Breaker!

Ares working the ground and pound but Breaker is defending the strikes.

Ares goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Breaker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ares's guard! Nice work there by Breaker!

Ares is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Breaker is aware though and is defending well.
Breaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ares swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ares has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Breaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Ares is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Breaker counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ares tries to bum rush Breaker with a series of wild strikes but Breaker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ares motions for Breaker to come forward. Ares throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ares fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Breaker manages to avoid it.

and Breaker counters with a stiff right hand.
Breaker misses the shot to the body.
Breaker works Ares's body with a nice hook.
Breaker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Breaker looks to land a left hand but Ares moved out of range nicely.
Ares throws a body punch but Breaker moves out of range.

A slow jab from Breaker misses its intended target.
Ares shoots for a double leg takedown but Breaker sprawls well. He's pushed Ares's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Breaker misses with an uppercut. Ares saw that one coming.
J Breaker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ares defending well as Breaker loads up on a big left hand.
Breaker throws the kick towards the body but Ares avoids it.
Ares has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Breaker finds it's way round the side to connect with Ares's head.
Breaker keeps the fight on the outside.

Ares shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ares is looking to work some ground and pound but Breaker has wrist control.
Ares trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Breaker is on top in guard.

Ares keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Breaker tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Breaker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Ares tries to get to full guard but Breaker has control of the leg.

Ares is refusing to be controlled, as Breaker sits in half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because J Breaker wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ares looks to throw the jab but Breaker is out of range.
Ares misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Breaker.
Breaker pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ares is out of range and Breaker settles back down.
Breaker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ares was well out of range. Poor timing from Breaker.
Breaker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ares swings away with a body shot that misses
and Breaker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ares wants to clinch up but Breaker keeps it at a distance.
Ares checks a low kick from Breaker.
J Breaker is winning the standup battle so far.
Breaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Breaker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Breaker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ares moves away.
Ares catches Breaker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ares lands a head shot.
Ares ducks under a wild hook from Breaker.

Ares darts in and clinches Breaker up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ares blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Breaker scores with a hook to the body.
Breaker pushes Ares back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ares misses with a punch to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ares tries a body shot but Breaker blocks it.
Breaker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Breaker's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

J Breaker dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Ares doesn't manage to clinch there - Breaker circles away.
Ares misses with a wild body shot.
Ares dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ares is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Breaker rather than just go for the knockout.

Ares closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Breaker is looking to control Ares's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Breaker avoid being mounted?

Ares is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Breaker defends it well.
Ares wants to pass the guard but Breaker is defending well.
Breaker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ares's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ares's back!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Breaker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Breaker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ares is out of range.
Breaker misses the shot to the body.
Ares looks to land a left hand but Breaker moved out of range nicely.
Ares scores with a nice head shot.
Breaker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ares on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Breaker. Breaker obviously looking to wear him down.
Breaker throws an overhand right that lands on Ares's shoulder, as Ares tries to avoid the shot.
Breaker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Breaker wants it to stay on the feet.

Breaker lands a jab to the head.
Ares misses with a hook. Breaker ducked under it nicely.
Ares dives in and grabs Breaker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Breaker pushes down on Ares's head and hops out.
Breaker throws a sloppy head kick and Ares moves out of range easily.
Ares tries to clinch up but Breaker circles away and keeps his distance.

Ares pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ares swings for the body but Breaker moves out of range.
Breaker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Breaker throws a shot from downtown. Ares moves away and avoids it.
Breaker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Breaker here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Ares lands with a good body shot.

And that's the end of the fight!
J Breaker showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Breaker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
