Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Marlboro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunders comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't That A Kick In The Head by Dean Martin. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunders misses with a head kick.
Marlboro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Johnny Thunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thunders throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A combination from Marlboro does no damage.
Thunders connects with a body shot.
Thunders throws a big shot that misses.
Marlboro misses with a double jab.
Thunders throws a looping overhand right but Marlboro ducks down to avoid it.
Marlboro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Thunders, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A looping hook to the body misses from Thunders. Marlboro does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thunders fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marlboro manages to avoid it.

Thunders lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thunders throws a right and a left that Marlboro avoids nicely.

Thunders looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Thunders lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thunders.

The fighters circle, before Thunders throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Marlboro's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Thunders lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

After the fight, Johnny Thunders was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
