The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem is looking to clinch.
Hall misses with a head kick.
Hall looks to land a combination but Mayhem avoids it well.
Mayhem scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hall doesn't seem bothered though.

Hall gets caught napping as Mayhem dives in and scores a takedown. Hall manages to retain guard.

Mayhem moves in looking to clinch but Hall pushes him off.
Mayhem connects with a solid leg kick.
Mayhem stuns Hall with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hall misses with a straight left.
Hall tries to bum rush Mayhem with a series of wild strikes but Mayhem uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hall takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice uppercut lands for Mayhem. That snapped Hall's head back.

Mayhem shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hall is trying to defend but Mayhem finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mayhem takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hall is still in real trouble! Can Mayhem finish him?

Mayhem lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hall! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mayhem jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

A determined Justin Mayhem didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
