The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thor keeps the fight on the outside.
McDanver looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thor is fending him off so far but McDanver persists. Nope, Thor circles away and we're back to standing.
McDanver takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Nice takedown defense from Thor. No joy for McDanver on that attempt.
Thor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thor misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - McDanver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Thor bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops McDanver! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Thor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McDanver has hold of Thor's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Thor manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Thor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDanver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
