The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark stuffs the takedown attempt from Vieira. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet.
Clark lands the left hand.
Clark throws a head kick that misses.
Clark scores with a head kick.
Clark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vieira tries to land a leg kick but Clark saw it coming and moves away.
Clark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vieira manages to avoid it.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown but Clark shows good takedown defense.
Vieira moves out of range of the body kick from Clark.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clark, right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clark misses with a head kick.
Whack! Clark lands a heavy head kick that drops Vieira. The ref tackles Clark to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Vieira was done.

A relieved looking Cameron Clark thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
