PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Church (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Water Sedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Church comes to the cage accompanied by Come To Life. Water Sedes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sedes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Church.
Hector Church seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sedes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sedes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Church.

Sedes has Church up against the cage in a clinch.
Church is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sedes is defending well.
Church is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Sedes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Church can't fight it off and eventually Sedes manages to take the fight to the floor. Church looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sedes is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Church can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sedes cracks Church with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Well Sedes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
