Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Overfield Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overfield Jr comes to the cage accompanied by I Need A Doctor. Ben Franklin will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Overfield Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Overfield Jr counters with a three punch combo that has Franklin backing up. Franklin nods at Overfield Jr to acknowledge the strikes.

Franklin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Overfield Jr tries to clinch there but Franklin circles away.

Franklin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Overfield Jr is trying to defend but Franklin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Overfield Jr has his foot on Franklin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Franklin works his way back into a safe position though.

Overfield Jr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Franklin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Overfield Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Overfield Jr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Franklin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Franklin is rocked!
Overfield Jr postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Franklin badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Overfield Jr around the waist but Overfield Jr pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Overfield Jr is the winner by TKO! Overfield Jr jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
