PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between But Bunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristaps Mozulis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that But Bunner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily But Bunner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bunner moves into the clinch.
Mozulis looking to stall.
Bunner is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mozulis is trying to maintain a safe position but Bunner gets an underhook and turns Mozulis into the cage.

Bunner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mozulis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bunner on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bunner digs a good hook to Mozulis's body.
Mozulis looks to score with a jab to the body but Bunner is just out of range.
Bunner drops his hands momentarily and Mozulis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bunner shoots in but no luck this time.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bunner.
Mozulis throws a hook to the side of Bunner's head but Bunner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bunner shoots in but no luck this time.
Bunner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bunner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mozulis.
Mozulis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bunner steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mozulis. That one must have hurt.

Bunner moves into range and clinches up with Mozulis.
Bunner is trying to drag Mozulis to the mat but Mozulis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mozulis trying to control the position but instead, Bunner has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mozulis into the cage.

Mozulis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bunner shoots in looking for a takedown but Mozulis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bunner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bunner is breathing heavily.
Mozulis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Good shot there by Mozulis.
Bunner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mozulis tries to avoid it but Bunner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mozulis to the ground. Mozulis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mozulis keeps Bunner at a distance using the push kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mozulis lands with a shot to the body.
Mozulis throws a shot from downtown. Bunner moves away and avoids it.

Mozulis throws a leg kick which misses Bunner's front leg but catches the back leg as Bunner tries to avoid it.

Mozulis throws a jab but it's blocked by Bunner.

Mozulis lands the left hand.
Mozulis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bunner steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mozulis. That one must have hurt.
Mozulis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bunner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A head kick misses from Mozulis.
Mozulis scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mozulis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That kick from Mozulis tenderised Bunner's leg. Bunner is trying to keep his angry face on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kristaps Mozulis dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bunner takes one to the chin there.

But Bunner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mozulis lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Bunner head around and knocks him out cold! Mozulis hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
