PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luna Soleil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Soleil's choice of entrance music: Solitaire Unraveling. Luna Soleil will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soleil cracks Gomi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Gomi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Soleil is defending well though. Gomi let's go of the attempt for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Soleil tries to sprawl out of it but Gomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Soleil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Soleil is sitting in close to Gomi's body. Gomi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Soleil is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Soleil is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gomi.

Tsatsu Gomi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
