Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Vallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vallon has chosen Pursuit of Vikings as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wilson Cricket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallon closes the distance and clinches up with Cricket, looking for a takedown. Vallon pushes Cricket against the cage but Cricket circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cricket circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cricket tries to clinch but Vallon is having none of it.
Vallon shoots in for a takedown but Cricket shows good takedown defense.
Vallon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cricket tries to land a front kick but Vallon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cricket showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vallon.
Vallon shoots for a double leg takedown but Cricket sprawls well. He's pushed Vallon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wilson Cricket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Vallon.
Cricket throws a right and a left that Vallon avoids nicely.
Vallon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cricket on the side of the head.
Tony Vallon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vallon misses with a hook. Cricket ducked under it nicely.
Cricket moves into range and clinches up with Vallon.
Vallon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cricket gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Cricket has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vallon uses from the top position.

Cricket manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cricket goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vallon turns into him and now he's in Cricket's guard.

Vallon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cricket had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vallon defends it easily.
Vallon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Vallon wants to control from the top but Cricket keeps moving.
Vallon throws a big elbow that misses.

Cricket wants to stand up but Vallon is controlling him.

Cricket utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vallon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That was a close round but I would say that Wilson Cricket will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Vallon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cricket takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vallon lands a leg kick that knocks Cricket off balance momentarily.
Vallon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cricket manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cricket defending well as Vallon loads up on a big left hand.
Vallon lands a jab-cross combination.
Vallon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Vallon. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
You can see the frustration on Vallon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cricket is trying to control. Vallon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Cricket really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vallon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cricket.
Cricket has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vallon uses from the top position.
Cricket looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Vallon has picked Cricket up and slammed him! Cricket can't keep hold of the triangle and Vallon manages to pass to side control!

Vallon creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cricket sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Vallon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vallon is trying to work for a kimura but Cricket is defending well.

Cricket has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vallon is working away from the top position though.

I would just about give that final round to Tony Vallon.
I think Vallon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Tony Vallon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
