Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rambo Ceasar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rambo Ceasar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Coleman as Ceasar shoots in.
Ceasar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ceasar tries for a takedown but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ceasar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coleman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Coleman dodges the punch combination from Ceasar.
Ceasar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman.
Ceasar tries to clinch but Coleman moves out of range.
Coleman throws a head kick that half lands.
Coleman shoots for a takedown but Ceasar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ceasar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Coleman counters with a shoot takedown. Ceasar fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rambo Ceasar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ceasar wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position.
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ceasar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman postures up in Ceasar's guard and throws a big left but Ceasar blocks it.

Coleman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

OK we're going to have a standup here. George Coleman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ceasar tries to clinch but Coleman moves out of range.
Ceasar leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ceasar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Coleman lands a jab to the nose.

Ceasar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The strikes coming from Ceasar are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Coleman is not content to let Ceasar control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman wants to control but Ceasar postures up.
Coleman tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Coleman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
An elbow from Ceasar crashes against the mat.
Coleman parries the strikes from Ceasar easily there. Ceasar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Coleman to escape.
Ceasar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ceasar wants to control but Coleman is keeping him busy.
Ceasar misses with the ground and pound.

Ceasar looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Coleman is avoiding damage well.
Ceasar wants to control but Coleman is keeping him busy.
Ceasar lands an elbow.
Coleman is not content to let Ceasar control the position.
A lull in the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ceasar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coleman keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rambo Ceasar will probably get the nod.

Coleman throws a sloppy head kick and Ceasar moves out of range easily.
Nice takedown defense from Ceasar. No joy for Coleman on that attempt.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there.
Coleman prevents Ceasar from improving his position.

Ceasar kicks off Coleman and gets to his feet.
Ceasar misses with a body shot.
Ceasar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Coleman keeps the fight on the outside.

Ceasar swinging wildly here.
Rambo Ceasar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman dives in and grabs Ceasar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ceasar pushes down on Coleman's head and hops out.
Ceasar stuffs the takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet.
Rambo Ceasar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Coleman.
Horrible takedown by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Ceasar which made him look bad.

Coleman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ceasar throws out the jab.

Coleman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ceasar on his heels. He'll look to pass Ceasar's guard now, I'm sure.

Coleman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ceasar, up you get!

Rambo Ceasar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ceasar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coleman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ceasar as he avoids it easily.

Ceasar throws a jab but it's blocked by Coleman.
Ceasar fails to land with a series of punches.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ceasar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Coleman shoots in for a double leg but Ceasar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Coleman gets the takedown into side control.
Coleman tries to advance to mount but can't.
Ceasar is trying to control Coleman's posture but Coleman avoids it.
Ceasar is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Coleman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ceasar manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Ceasar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Ceasar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ceasar closes the distance and pushes Coleman back into the cage.
Ceasar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Coleman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ceasar is defending well.

Ceasar has hold of one of Coleman's legs. Coleman is fighting the takedown attempt but Ceasar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ceasar wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ceasar looking to sit in guard and control but Coleman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ceasar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Coleman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ceasar trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Coleman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ceasar tries to clinch there but Coleman circles away.
Coleman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ceasar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A solid leg kick lands there for Ceasar.
Ceasar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Coleman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ceasar somewhat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Coleman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ceasar swivels and escapes.
Rambo Ceasar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Coleman.
Coleman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ceasar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coleman somewhat.

Ceasar is doing well to control the position and prevent Coleman from advancing to side control.

Coleman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Ceasar connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Horrible takedown by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Ceasar which made him look bad.

Ceasar shoots for a double leg takedown but Coleman sprawls well. He's pushed Ceasar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ceasar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coleman.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ceasar lands a head kick. Coleman smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ceasar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rambo Ceasar.
I think Ceasar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
