Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oraine Dauswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dauswell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cooper wants to control but Dauswell is keeping busy.
Cooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dauswell passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cooper!
Dauswell avoids the attempt from Cooper to control.

Cooper tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Dauswell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
It looks like Dauswell might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Oraine Dauswell.
Dauswell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cooper.
Cooper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dauswell was well out of range. Poor timing from Cooper.
Oraine Dauswell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dauswell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cooper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dauswell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dauswell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cooper manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cooper on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Dauswell shoots in and gets a takedown into Cooper's guard.
Dauswell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Oraine Dauswell was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cooper misses the jab.

Dauswell looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Cooper won't allow Dauswell to pass to mount.

Dauswell decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Dauswell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dauswell shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dauswell drops an elbow to the side of Cooper's head.
Cooper is breathing heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cooper is trying to control but can't.

Dauswell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dauswell is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dauswell moves into full mount! Cooper won't be happy about that!

Dauswell has isolated one of Cooper's arms. Cooper looking to fight him off but Dauswell twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
