PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zbyszko Zbogdanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power comes to the cage accompanied by Survivor - Eyes of The Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power misses with an uppercut.
Power tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zbogdanca was well out of range. Poor timing from Power.

Zbogdanca feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zbogdanca got a little sloppy there for a moment and Power has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zbogdanca has managed to get both his arms back between Power's legs - danger averted.
Zbogdanca slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Zbogdanca is trying to get an arm triangle but Power is defending well.

Zbogdanca tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Zbogdanca working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Power wants to get back to his feet but Zbogdanca drags him back down.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zbogdanca has hold of Power's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Power tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zbogdanca cranks the arm and Power screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Power, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
