The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
There misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ulisses.
There takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
There missing with a left hand there. Ulisses was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
There uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ulisses.
Ulisses scores with a nice head shot.
There fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ulisses keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
There throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ulisses swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ulisses fakes high and swings low for a body shot but There manages to avoid it.
Ulisses misses with a wild body shot.
There shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There throwing strikes but missing.
There works over Ulisses with some ground and pound from guard.
There postures up in Ulisses's guard and throws a big left but Ulisses blocks it.
Ulisses wants to stand up but There is controlling him.
There might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

There loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ulisses is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ulisses should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
There passes Ulisses's left leg - he's now in half guard.

There uses his free foot to push down on Ulisses's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ulisses.
Ulisses takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
It looks like Marcus Ulisses has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
There postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ulisses badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of There around the waist but There pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! There is the winner by TKO! There jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hi There!
