Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buffalo Ushijima!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ushijima moves into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Strongback gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Ushijima wants to stand but Strongback is controlling the position.
Strongback is in close to Ushijima's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ushijima darts in and clinches Strongback up against the cage.
Ushijima tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Strongback avoids it.

Ushijima jumps guard but Strongback turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ushijima is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ushijima is trying to maintain a safe position but Strongback gets an underhook and turns Ushijima into the cage.

Ushijima is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ushijima has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Strongback is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ushijima is trying to pull guard but Strongback turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lou Strongback has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buffalo Ushijima.
Strongback is trying to force a seperation but Ushijima has the dominant position.

Strongback is trying to push Ushijima away but Ushijima has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ushijima controls Strongback momentarily but Strongback frees himself.

Ushijima wants to get back to striking at distance but Strongback won't allow it.
Ushijima changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Strongback fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Strongback lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lou Strongback wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Strongback throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ushijima was covering up waiting for the punch and Strongback finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Strongback lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Strongback is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Strongback cracks Ushijima with a solid left hand.
Strongback controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Well, if Strongback is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Strongback tries to pass to full mount but Ushijima defends it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Strongback shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ushijima eats them both and turns towards Strongback to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Buffalo Ushijima has been cut.
Ushijima tries for a takedown but Strongback sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Strongback gets tackled into the cage by Ushijima. Ushijima maintains the clinch.

Strongback lands a jab.
Ushijima has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Strongback frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
BOOM! Strongback connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ushijima takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Strongback has control of Ushijima's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ushijima regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Strongback is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ushijima is rocked!
Strongback postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ushijima badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Strongback around the waist but Strongback pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Strongback is the winner by TKO! Strongback jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
