Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryant Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psil Ander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ander gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Helix digs a good hook to Ander's body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ander.
Ander scores with a kick to the body.
Helix takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Helix lands with a hook. Ander tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ander is defended easily by Helix.

Helix defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ander.
Bryant Helix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psil Ander.
Ander tries to land a front kick but Helix steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Helix turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Helix connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ander. Ander circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Helix counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Ander tries for a takedown but Helix sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ander is defended easily by Helix.
Psil Ander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Helix lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ander's sensitive parts.
Helix connects with a leg kick. Ander looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Helix counters with a head kick. That will keep Ander thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ander tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Helix manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Helix. No joy for Ander on that attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Helix fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ander.
Ander has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Helix finds it's way round the side to connect with Ander's head.

Ander stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Helix.

Ander avoids a kick to the body.
Ander looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Helix throws a low kick, looking for Ander's leg but Ander calmly moves out of range.
Helix lands with a cross.
Helix lands with a nice body punch.
Ander tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Helix darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Helix getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Ander is rocked!
Helix stuns Ander with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ander closes the distance but Helix moves to the side
and Helix counters with a right hand to the body.
Ander throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Helix connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ander tumbling to the canvas! Helix pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ander was done - good stoppage!
