The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blastoma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Taylor working for a triangle but Blastoma defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taylor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Blastoma is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Taylor.

Blastoma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
