The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danns shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wilson but Wilson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wilson throws a leg kick that is checked

and Danns counters with a takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wilson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Danns's best efforts.
Danns trying to pass the guard but Wilson defending well.
Danns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wilson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Danns's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Danns's back!
Danns is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Wilson.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wilson looking to break Danns's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Danns remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wilson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Wilson has the hooks in. Danns is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Wilson passes his arm under Danns's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Danns taps!
