The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a combination that misses
and Stone counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Guillermo Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martinez looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martinez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Martinez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Stone counter with a right hand.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stone.
Martinez misses with a combination
and Stone counters with a slapping leg kick.
Martinez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Some wild striking there from Martinez.
Stone scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martinez looks gassed!
Stone throws a head kick but Martinez moves out of range.
Stone scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Stone dives in and scores a takedown into Martinez's guard.
Martinez keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
Stone advances to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Stone works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone lands a big shot there that rocks Martinez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Stone! Martinez is hurt baaadly! Stone is firing away with more strikes - Martinez is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Aaron Stone was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
