Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marino Barter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuter Kol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cuter Kol will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marino Barter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cuter Kol!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kol connects with a leg kick. Barter looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kol scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kol throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Kol taking a break here but Barter is having none of it and regains half guard.
Kol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kol is taking a breather. Barter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kol is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Barter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kol looking to sit in guard and control but Barter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Barter won't allow Kol to sweep him here.

Barter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kol controls Barter momentarily but Barter frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Barter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Barter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Barter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kol swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kol is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kol controlling Barter's posture.

Kol looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Barter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Barter trying to control but Kol is working from the bottom.
Kol not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marino Barter wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Kol tries to keep at a distance but Barter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kol is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Kol gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Barter tries to get to full guard but Kol has control of the leg.
Kol seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cuter Kol dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Kol closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barter to the mat! Barter manages to get full guard.
Kol trying to control the position from guard on top but Barter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kol wants to stand but Barter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Barter doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Barter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kol can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Barter has his foot on Kol's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kol works his way back into a safe position though.

Kol decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kol moves into the clinch.

Barter jumps into guard, dragging Kol to the mat.
Cuter Kol has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kol controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Barter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kol postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Barter being controlled here, momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cuter Kol was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Kol gets in close and instigates a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kol gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Kol passes Barter's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kol thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barter's head.
Kol is thwarting Barter's attempts to control the position.
Barter is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Kol seems to be looking for submissions.
Kol performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Barter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kol is working away from the top position though.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kol misses with a head shot. Barter uses the momentum to regain guard.
Kol wanted to stand there but Barter had control of the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kol is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cuter Kol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Barter tries for a takedown but Kol sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barter.
Barter fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marino Barter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kol feints and as Barter raises his hands in defense, Kol changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kol trying to control but Barter is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kol advances position into side control!
The referee asks Kol politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kol prefers to stall for the moment though.
Barter tries to buck Kol off but Kol is having none of it.
Kol landing strikes.
A lull in the action here as Kol stalls from top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kol stands up.

Kol takes the fight into the clinch.

Kol pulls Barter into guard.
Kol bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barter's guard.

Barter has his feet on Kol's thighs here. He's pushed Kol off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kol screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marino Barter!
During a confident post fight interview, Marino Barter thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
