Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Pinca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brian Sonnen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pinca sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sonnen somewhat.
Pinca fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sonnen.
Sonnen is looking to clinch but Pinca is avoiding it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pinca.
Sonnen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pinca. That one must have hurt.
Sonnen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sonnen fails with the takedown.

Pinca sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Sonnen to the ground! Pinca dives into full mount looking to finish!

Sonnen is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pinca forces the positional change into back control.
Sonnen is still in real trouble! Can Pinca finish him?
Sonnen wants to get back to his feet.
Sonnen seems to have recovered his senses.
Sonnen looks gassed!

Pinca sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Sonnen taps out!
