The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Martin.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pogi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Martin works over Pogi's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Pedro Pogi has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Martin or perhaps it was just good defense by Pogi which made him look bad.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pogi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Martin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pogi.

Martin manages to break the clinch.
Martin shoots in for a double leg but Pogi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Martin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pogi to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Pogi connects with a couple of short punches.

Pogi drops back looking for a leg! Martin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Martin manages to kick Pogi off! Pogi jumps back into Martin's guard.
Pogi passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Martin is looking for a sweep.
Martin wants to control but Pogi postures up.
Pogi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Martin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pogi has eaten all the pies!

Pogi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Pogi lands a few punches from side control.

Martin is breathing heavily.

Pogi has hold of Martin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Martin seems comfortable defending it but Pogi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Martin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Martin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pogi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
