The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Fleur lands with a good body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tiongson.
Tiongson fails with a takedown attempt.
La Fleur looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tiongson tries to score a power double leg takedown but La Fleur sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tiongson somewhat.
Gabriel La Fleur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Tiongson.
La Fleur stuffs the takedown.
La Fleur thuds a left hand into Tiongson's body.
A telegraphed right hand from La Fleur misses the target.

and Tiongson counters with a nice uppercut.
Tiongson moves to clinch but La Fleur breaks away
and La Fleur counters with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
La Fleur misses with a straight right.
Tiongson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Dave Tiongson has been cut.

Tiongson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tiongson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tiongson wants to clinch up but La Fleur keeps it at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from La Fleur. No joy for Tiongson on that attempt.
La Fleur connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
La Fleur scores with a jab to the body.

Oh, that's a big right hand from La Fleur and Tiongson goes tumbling to the canvas! La Fleur follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

La Fleur decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Tiongson is still on wobbly legs! Can La Fleur finish him?
An inside leg kick lands from La Fleur.
La Fleur connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
La Fleur lands a brutal uppercut that launches Tiongson off his feet! Tiongson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
