Ivanovits comes to the cage accompanied by The Odorants - This Night. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ivanovits circles away.
Ivanovits throws a wild body kick that Kong sees coming a mile off.
Kong throws a sloppy head kick and Ivanovits moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheers as Ivanovits lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kong doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Zilla Kong has been cut.
That kick from Ivanovits tenderised Kong's leg. Kong is trying to keep his angry face on.

The fighters circling - Kong throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kong closes the distance and clinches up with Ivanovits, looking for a takedown. Kong pushes Ivanovits against the cage but Ivanovits circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kong seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ivanovits does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kong throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ivanovits tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kong is in Ivanovits's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergei Ivanovits will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ivanovits sprawls well. Ivanovits wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kong gets slowly back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zilla Kong's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zilla Kong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Sergei Ivanovits thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
