Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fire's choice of entrance music: Skrillex - Ruffneck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Fire clinches up against the cage.

Fire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fire stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Joe Johnson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fire cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Johnson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fire finish him?
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Fire bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson walks straight into a right hand from Fire - that's dropped him! Fire jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Johnson from any more punishment! Johnson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Frankie Fire!
In his post fight interview, Frankie Fire started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
