Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bazinga Jyoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kotaro Fuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bazinga Jyoku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jyoku shoots in for a takedown but Fuma shows good takedown defense.
Jyoku fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fuma.
Fuma keeps the fight on the outside.
Fuma clinches.
Jyoku has Fuma pushed against the cage.
Fuma wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jyoku has him pressed against the cage.
Jyoku lands an elbow that stopped Fuma in his tracks for a moment.
Jyoku wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jyoku breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fuma on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jyoku. Jyoku obviously looking to wear him down.
Jyoku is looking to land body kicks.

Fuma manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jyoku on his heels. He'll look to pass Jyoku's guard now, I'm sure.
Jyoku wants to get back to his feet but Fuma passes into half guard.
Jyoku is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuma stops Jyoku from getting back to his feet.

Jyoku tries to kick Fuma off in order to stand up. Fuma Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Jyoku is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Jyoku's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fuma decides to stand back up. Fuma steps back and let's Jyoku get back to his feet.
Jyoku is breathing heavily.
Jyoku scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuma is looking for a sweep.

Jyoku stands up.
Fuma defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jyoku.
Jyoku fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fuma.
Fuma has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jyoku.
Jyoku tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fuma swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bazinga Jyoku. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fuma instigates a clinch.
Fuma pulls guard effortlessly.

Fuma keeping moving, preventing Jyoku from controlling successfully.
Fuma bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jyoku's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jyoku holds on and takes a little breather.
Fuma passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jyoku stops Fuma from passing to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fuma is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jyoku will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bazinga Jyoku will probably get the nod.

Jyoku throws a front kick aimed at Fuma's knee but Fuma avoids it well.
Fuma rushes Jyoku and presses him up against the cage.
Jyoku throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jyoku really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jyoku breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jyoku misses with a takedown attempt
and Fuma counters with a shoot takedown. Jyoku fights it but they end up in guard.
Jyoku is striking off his back. Fuma thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Jyoku is trying to maintain the position but Fuma is very close to passing his half guard.
Jyoku is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fuma gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jyoku.
Jyoku dives in and grabs Fuma's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fuma pushes down on Jyoku's head and hops out.

Fuma throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fuma has a takedown stuffed.
Jyoku circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jyoku wants to clinch.
Fuma shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Fuma is trying to control. Jyoku wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fuma wants to free his trapped foot but Jyoku is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fuma uses his free foot to push down on Jyoku's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jyoku.
Jyoku is working to get back to half guard.
Fuma wants to control the pace but Jyoku is squirming around nicely.

Fuma is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kotaro Fuma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bazinga Jyoku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuma misses with a double jab.
Jyoku tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fuma swivels and escapes.
Jyoku shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fuma napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fuma sneaks out the side door and pushes Jyoku away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fuma avoids the head kick by Jyoku.
Jyoku misses with a combination
and Fuma counters with a left and a right that stings Jyoku.

Fuma tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jyoku manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fuma lands a jab to Jyoku's midsection.
Fuma throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jyoku was covering up waiting for the punch and Fuma finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fuma wants to control from the top but Jyoku keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kotaro Fuma wasn't active enough on the ground.
Fuma looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jyoku is fending him off so far but Fuma persists. Nope, Jyoku circles away and we're back to standing.

and Fuma counters with a three punch combo that has Jyoku backing up. Jyoku nods at Fuma to acknowledge the strikes.

Jyoku tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jyoku throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fuma clinches up against the cage.
Fuma manages to break the clinch.
Fuma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jyoku sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fuma closes the distance and clinches up with Jyoku, looking for a takedown. Fuma pushes Jyoku against the cage but Jyoku circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Fuma counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fuma jumps guard but Jyoku stands there with Fuma around his waist. Fuma gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jyoku tries for a takedown but Fuma sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Kotaro Fuma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fuma has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
