Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Franz Uther!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, MR Gnp!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uther connects with a jab.
Uther bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gnp is defended easily by Uther.
Gnp misses with a takedown attempt - Uther sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gnp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Franz Uther has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MR Gnp.
Uther lands a right hook to the body.
Gnp shoots in for a takedown but Uther shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Uther cracks Gnp with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Uther gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gnp breaks the clinch.
Uther scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gnp in his tracks.
Gnp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uther but Uther pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gnp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uther tries to avoid it but Gnp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uther to the ground. Uther escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gnp gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Uther counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gnp looks gassed!

Uther defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gnp.
Gnp moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gnp misses with a takedown
and Uther counters with a nice uppercut.
Uther bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gnp's head backwards.
Uther works Gnp's body with a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gnp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uther tries to avoid it but Gnp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uther to the ground. Uther escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Uther lands a really nice looking cross but Gnp seems unphased.
Uther lands a nice shot to the body.
Gnp moves forwards but Uther connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Uther lands a slapping body shot.
Uther lands a nice hook to Gnp's body. Gnp takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Uther cracks Gnp with a good jab.
Gnp is rocked!
Gnp glances at the clock... BAM! Uther nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Gnp crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Gnp is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
