Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ali Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kopylov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Kopylov!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kopylovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sloppy strikes from Kopylov. Those never looked like landing.
Vladimir Kopylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kopylov tries to bum rush Bang with a series of wild strikes but Bang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kopylov wants to break free but Bang has control.
Kopylov wants to get back to striking at distance but Bang won't allow it.
Kopylov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bang lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Bang with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kopylov is trying to push Bang away but Bang has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bang stalling in the clinch.
Bang gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Bang digs a right hand into Kopylov's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kopylov's gas tank.

Kopylov tries to circle away but Bang has him pinned against the cage.
Bang lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kopylov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bang - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kopylov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kopylov looks for the body kick but Bang saw that one coming.
Kopylov throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Bang to counter with a crisp jab.
Good leg kick by Bang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick misses from Bang.
Bang throws a right hand that Kopylov ducks under and follows up with a left that Kopylov also avoids with ease.
Bang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kopylov but Kopylov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Bang counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bang drops his hands momentarily and Kopylov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bang slips under a jab.
Bang ducks under a wild hook from Kopylov.
Kopylov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kopylov tries a head kick but it misses.
Bang avoids the head kick by Kopylov.
A combination from Bang does no damage.

Kopylov looks to land a right hand but Bang moved out of range.
Kopylov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bang wants to clinch.

Bang darts in and clinches Kopylov up against the cage.
Bang just leaning against Kopylov, taking a breather.
Bang lands a body shot in the clinch.

Kopylov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kopylov tries to break free but Bang pushes him back against the cage.
Kopylov wants to break free but Bang has control.
Bang manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bang throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bang gets through Kopylov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Bang lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bang tries a body shot but Kopylov blocks it.
Bang pushes Kopylov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kopylov letting Bang take a breather here.
Bang seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ali Bang.
Kopylov throws a series of punches but Bang moves out of range.
Kopylov lands with a kick to the temple. Bang shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bang misses the shot to the body.
Vladimir Kopylov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bang fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kopylov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bang's hands.
Bang misses the shot to the body.
Bang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kopylov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bang closes the distance and clinches.

Bang avoids the head kick by Kopylov.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bang wants to clinch up but Kopylov keeps it at a distance.
Kopylov avoids the head kick by Bang.

Kopylov sends Bang crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kopylov is motioning to the referee to let Bang up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Bang is rocked!
Kopylov throws a series of punches but Bang avoids them all with ease.
Oh Bang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ali Bang will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kopylov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bang throws out the jab.
and Kopylov counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Bang! He's just covering up as Kopylov starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
