Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnnie Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Pinksy!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pinksy but Pinksy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walker fails with a takedown attempt.
Walker shoots in for a double leg but Pinksy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnnie Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pinksy circles away.
Pinksy drops Walker with a left right combo! Pinksy follows him down to the ground into side control.


Walker is rocked!
Walker manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Oh Walker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker is looking for a kimura but Pinksy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walker to get the leverage.
Walker seems to have got his legs back now.
Pinksy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Walker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pinksy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pinksy wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.
Walker is pressing down on Pinksy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pinksy is holding on for now.
Walker is working hard here to advance position.

Pinksy wants to control but Walker is keeping busy.

Pinksy is defending against the submission attempts here by Walker.
Walker is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch but Pinksy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Walker tries to clinch there but Pinksy circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Walker.

Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pinksy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pinksy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Walker's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Pinksy trying to control but Walker postures up.
Pinksy tries to roll over but Walker keeps him under control.

Walker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pinksy looks like he's trying to stand up.

Walker wants to free his trapped foot but Pinksy is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Pinksy tries to get to full guard but Walker has control of the leg.

Walker seems to be looking for submissions.

Walker is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pinksy has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pinksy won't allow Walker to pass to mount.

Walker seems to be working for a kimura but Pinksy defends the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pinksy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Walker.
Pinksy lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nice sprawl there from Pinksy as Walker shoots in.
Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pinksy's waist but Pinksy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Walker fails with the takedown.
Walker is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pinksy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drew Pinksy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Pinksy lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Walker falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Drew Pinksy!
