The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulsen connects with a leg kick. Creed looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Creed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Paulsen motions for Creed to come forward. Paulsen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Paulsen thows a body kick. Creed tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Paulsen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Creed does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Paulsen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Creed throws a jab but it's blocked by Paulsen.
Creed changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Paulsen is breathing heavily.
Creed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Paulsen.
Paulsen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Creed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Paulsen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Creed rather than just go for the knockout.

Creed drops Paulsen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Paulsen looks back up at him and smiles so Creed waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Paulsen is rocked!
Creed lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
