Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akisame Koetsuji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koetsuji comes to the cage accompanied by We Can Be Friends. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koetsuji moves into the clinch.
Pierre wants a takedown.
Pierre drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pierre takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Nick Pierre has been cut.
Koetsuji working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Koetsuji's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Koetsuji lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Koetsuji gets underhooks to prevent Pierre's takedown attempt.
Akisame Koetsuji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Pierre.
Pierre drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Koetsuji gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pierre tries for a takedown. No joy.
Koetsuji crunches a lovely knee into Pierre's ribcage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koetsuji creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pierre's defenses.
Pierre looks gassed!
Koetsuji lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pierre backwards.
Pierre tries to pull guard but Koetsuji holds him up against the cage and eventually Pierre drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Koetsuji lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That has opened up Nick Pierre's cut even more.
Koetsuji lands an elbow inside that Pierre shrugs off.
Koetsuji gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The cut above Nick Pierre's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Koetsuji landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Koetsuji lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Pierre is rocked!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Koetsuji.
Pierre is still on wobbly legs! Can Koetsuji finish him?
Koetsuji has Pierre pressed against the cage. He pushes Pierre back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Koetsuji throws a beautiful elbow that sends Pierre crashing to the floor! Koetsuji piles on the pressure with more strikes! Pierre is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akisame Koetsuji!
