Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse Ventura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roleta Russa!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ventura can pounce on him.
Russa tries for a takedown but Ventura sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ventura stuffs the takedown.
Ventura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jesse Ventura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roleta Russa.
Ventura throws a sloppy head kick and Russa moves out of range easily.
Ventura fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Russa, pushing him back against the cage.
Russa tries to break the clinch but Ventura is controlling the position.
Russa tries to pull guard but Ventura won't allow it.
Ventura landing some nice looking knees to the body.

It looks like Roleta Russa has been cut.

Russa goes for a takedown attempt but Ventura pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ventura pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Russa throws a series of punches but Ventura moves out of range.
Russa wants to clinch
and Ventura counters with an outside leg kick.
Russa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ventura as he avoids it easily.
Ventura circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Russa drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ventura follows Russa to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse Ventura!
