Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between arnold kilbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Jimbob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). arnold kilbot looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kilbot tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jimbob swivels and escapes.

kilbot gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

kilbot is working an open guard so Jimbob takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
kilbot moves in looking to clinch but Jimbob pushes him off.
Jimbob should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Jimbob counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
kilbot is breathing heavily.
Jimbob is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Jimbob slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jimbob seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jimbob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with kilbot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

kilbot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

kilbot has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jimbob is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for kilbot.

and Jimbob holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jimbob's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
kilbot is looking to break free of the clinch but Jimbob has double underhooks.
kilbot fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jimbob tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. kilbot smiles and moves away.

and Jimbob holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jimbob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jimbob looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jimbob wants to take a breather but kilbot is having none of it.
kilbot wants to improve his position but Jimbob is controlling well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jimbob looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks kilbot with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jimbob decides to stand up.

Jimbob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Jimbo Jimbob has got the better of the ground game so far.

kilbot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jimbob's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jimbob can do anything to dispel that myth.

kilbot is pushing down on Jimbob's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jimbob is fighting to maintain full guard but kilbot has managed to sneak the leg through.
kilbot seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Jimbob tries to roll over but kilbot keeps him under control.
Jimbob is staying active underneath kilbot, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

kilbot is nestled in close to Jimbob, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

kilbot takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from kilbot. Jimbob shrugs it off though.

Jimbo Jimbob showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jimbob must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jimbob rushes kilbot and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jimbob has hold of one of kilbot's legs. kilbot is fighting the takedown attempt but Jimbob gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

kilbot shoots in looking for a takedown. Jimbob tries to sprawl out of it but kilbot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jimbob manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
