Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Remco Van Zoetebier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knocked Out!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoetebier shoots in looking for a takedown but Out manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zoetebier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice sprawl there from Zoetebier as Out shoots in.
Out has a takedown stuffed.
Zoetebier shoots in for a double leg but Out sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Knocked Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Out shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zoetebier pinned against the cage. Zoetebier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Remco Van Zoetebier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knocked Out.
Zoetebier shoots in for a double leg but Out sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zoetebier has his foot on Out's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Out works his way back into a safe position though.

Out is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Out must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Zoetebier thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Remco Van Zoetebier will probably get the nod.

Remco Van Zoetebier decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
