PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Under And Over It. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hannibal Lecter was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Hannibal Lecter!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost throws out a leg kick but Lecter moves out of range and Frost only half commits.
Lecter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Frost throws a jab when Lecter was well out of range.
Lecter keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lecter tries to clinch up but Frost circles away and keeps his distance.
Frost shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lecter pinned against the cage. Lecter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lecter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Frost's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lecter landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Frost is defended easily by Lecter.
Lecter moves in looking to clinch but Frost pushes him off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hannibal Lecter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
