And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christopher Green!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown but Buddell shows good takedown defense.

Buddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Buddell tries to clinch but Green is having none of it.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buddell as he jumps to the side.
Buddell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Buddell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Green has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buddell has managed to get both his arms back between Green's legs - danger averted.

Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Buddell's guard.
Green passes Buddell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buddell keeps working.

Green stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Buddell to get to his feet.
Buddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Buddell drives through with a takedown into Green's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Buddell loads up on a big left hand. Green felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Buddell looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Green can't hide his disappointment, as Buddell celebrates the victory.
