PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soz Sztrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Raymore Ardonia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sztrova comes to the cage accompanied by In Flames - Delight and Anger. Mirko Raymore Ardonia will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonia connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sztrova. Sztrova circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Soz Sztrova has been cut.
Ardonia fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A slow jab from Ardonia misses its intended target.
Sztrova throws a combination that misses
and Ardonia counters with a nice body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Ardonia. Those never looked like landing.
Ardonia lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sztrova shoots in looking for a takedown but Ardonia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sztrova's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sztrova keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ardonia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sztrova takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ardonia throws a series of punches but Sztrova moves out of range.
Sztrova closes the distance and clinches up with Ardonia, looking for a takedown. Sztrova pushes Ardonia against the cage but Ardonia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sztrova shoots in but Ardonia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soz Sztrova. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ardonia swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ardonia stuffs the takedown attempt from Sztrova. Sztrova gets slowly back to his feet.
Sztrova slips a jab and a cross from Ardonia.

Ardonia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ardonia slaps away a takedown attempt from Sztrova, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sztrova looks for a takedown but Ardonia sprawls well.
Ardonia lands with a nice combination. Sztrova backs away looking to recover.

Ardonia lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sztrova at a distance.
Sztrova tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Ardonia counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ardonia lands a left and a right that send Sztrova crashing to the mat, dazed. Ardonia thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sztrova is rocked!
Sztrova takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh Sztrova is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ardonia misses with the combination.

Ardonia throws a right and a left that Sztrova avoids nicely.
Sztrova doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sztrova get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Sztrova stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Ardonia runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
