Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Whyte!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerrard tries to work over Whyte's front leg with a kick but Whyte checks it.
Gerrard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Whyte feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gerrards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Whyte lands a left and a right that send Gerrard crashing to the mat, dazed. Whyte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Cristopher Gerrard has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whyte closes the distance and clinches.
Whyte breaks from the clinch.
Whyte circles away from the clinch attempt.
Whyte scores with a takedown into Gerrard's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Whyte gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Whyte has taken the fight to the clinch.
Whyte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Whyte fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gerrard sprawls well initially but Whyte persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Whyte passes to full mount!
Whyte landing strikes from the mount and Gerrard is in trouble!
Gerrard tries to hold on but Whyte postures up.
The referee warns Gerrard that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gerrard is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Whyte working for a submission but Gerrard is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whyte postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Gerrard bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Whyte and the fight is over!
