Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bai Mei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Macdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macdonald has chosen Roy jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macdonald fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mei avoids it really well and circles away.

Mei gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Macdonald to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Macdonald drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Macdonald jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mei has his foot on Macdonald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macdonald works his way back into a safe position though.

Macdonald gets to his feet. Mei looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mei stuffs the takedown attempt from Macdonald. Macdonald gets slowly back to his feet.

Mei shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Macdonald sprawls well. Macdonald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mei gets slowly back to his feet.

Macdonald is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Mei defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Macdonald has got one arm under Mei's chin. This could be trouble... Mei trying to control the other hand but Macdonald gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mei has tapped out! The fight is over!
