PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fusion Drone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Snoop Dogg - Boom ft. T-Pain. Pablo Escobar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drone moves to clinch but Escobar breaks away

Escobar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Escobar manages to end up in side control.

Drone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Escobar did well to prevent Drone getting side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Drone. Escobar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Drone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Escobar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Drone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Escobar as he jumps to the side.

Escobar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Drone keeps working.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Escobar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Drone! Submission of the night perhaps?
