PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Kooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raviel Mutoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kooch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rusko - Tru Powwa. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutoh misses with a takedown attempt
and Kooch counters with a series of strikes. Mutoh will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mutoh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kooch paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kooch feints a jab promting Mutoh to slip. Kooch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mutoh slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kooch misses with a takedown

and Mutoh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kooch manages to get to full guard.
Kooch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kooch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mutoh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Mutoh is sitting in close to Kooch's body. Kooch has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mutoh is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mutoh is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kooch.
