Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uile De Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uile De Jesus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Erikson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Uile De Jesus!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jesus clinches.
De Jesus landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Erikson is pushing De Jesus up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
De Jesus tries for a takedown. No joy.
De Jesus lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Jay Erikson has been cut.
Erikson working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De Jesus tries for a takedown but Erikson manages to get underhooks.
Erikson has hold of one of De Jesus's legs. De Jesus is fighting the takedown attempt but Erikson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
De Jesus has his foot on Erikson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Erikson works his way back into a safe position though.
Erikson gets to his feet - De Jesus follows without any prompting.
De Jesus closes the distance looking to clinch
and Erikson counters with an outside leg kick.
Erikson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jay Erikson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uile De Jesus.
De Jesus is looking to clinch but Erikson is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Erikson moves into the clinch.
De Jesus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Erikson is pressed up against the cage. De Jesus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Erikson down to the mat. Erikson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
De Jesus looks gassed!
Erikson drives through and clinches with De Jesus against the cage.
Erikson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Erikson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Erikson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Jesus tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Erikson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Erikson landing strikes from the mount.
De Jesus is looking to get to half guard.
De Jesus taking shots to the head.
It looks like Uile De Jesus has been cut.
Erikson controlling from the full mount.
De Jesus is bucking up trying to escape but Erikson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That has opened up Uile De Jesus's cut even more.
Erikson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The cut above Uile De Jesus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Uile De Jesus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jay Erikson!
Jay Erikson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
