PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timofey Vlasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clean Jaude Damn Vame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damn Vame comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fight to Survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlasov is looking to clinch but Damn Vame is avoiding it.
Vlasov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Damn Vame avoids it really well and circles away.

Vlasov clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Vlasov fails to land.
Damn Vame is trying to force a seperation but Vlasov has the dominant position.
Vlasov misses with the head strike.
Vlasov trying to control the position but instead, Damn Vame has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vlasov into the cage.
Damn Vame tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vlasov misses with the head strike.
Damn Vame taking a breather.
Damn Vame lands with a right to the head.
Damn Vame lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vlasov backwards.
Vlasov is stalling here.
Vlasov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Damn Vame - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Damn Vame breaks from the clinch.
Damn Vame connects with the punch.
Vlasov tries to close the distance and clinch but Damn Vame swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vlasov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vlasov is looking to clinch.
Good leg kick by Damn Vame there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Damn Vame blocks a head kick by Vlasov.
Vlasov shoots in looking for a takedown. Damn Vame tries to sprawl out of it but Vlasov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Damn Vame manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vlasov looks for a takedown but Damn Vame sprawls well.
Vlasov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vlasov is looking to clinch but Damn Vame is avoiding it.
Damn Vame throws a nice inside leg kick.
Vlasov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Damn Vame. Damn Vame obviously looking to wear him down.
Damn Vame checks a leg kick nicely.

Vlasov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Damn Vame keeping control of the position.

Vlasov is working for a submission of some sort.
Damn Vame wants to improve his position but Vlasov is controlling well.

Damn Vame is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vlasov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vlasov's back!
Damn Vame keeps control of the position as Vlasov tries to break free.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Damn Vame is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Damn Vame gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Damn Vame gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Damn Vame apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Vlasov tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Damn Vame counters with a big head kick but Vlasov shrugs it off.
Damn Vame lands with a straight right. Vlasov didn't see that one coming.
Vlasov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Damn Vame.
Vlasov tries to clinch up.
Damn Vame circles away from the clinch attempt.
Damn Vame lands a right hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vlasov fails with a takedown attempt.
Vlasov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clean Jaude Damn Vame dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Damn Vame connects with a solid leg kick.
Vlasov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Damn Vame circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Damn Vame.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Damn Vame.
Damn Vame keeps the fight on the outside.
Vlasov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Damn Vame sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Clean Jaude Damn Vame seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Damn Vame throws a nice outside leg kick.
Damn Vame leaves Vlasov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vlasov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Damn Vame tries to avoid it but Vlasov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Damn Vame to the ground. Damn Vame escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Damn Vame is looking to slow Vlasov down with leg kicks.
Oh Vlasov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters circling a little - Damn Vame finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Damn Vame feints a jab and as Vlasov dips his head, Damn Vame unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Vlasov right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Vlasov falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Damn Vame smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
