Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Stantz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Stantz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stantz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stantz moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.
Stantz looks to land a combination but Anderson avoids it well.
Stantz looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Stantz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there.
Stantz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stantz but Stantz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stantz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stantz throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely.

Stantz forces Anderson back against the cage and clinches.
Stantz prevents a takedown attempt there.
Stantz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Stantz works on Anderson's body with a couple of short punches.
Anderson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stantz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Anderson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Anderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stantz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stantz's back instead.

Stantz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Anderson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Stantz turns into him and now he's in Anderson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stantz wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position.
Anderson wants to sweep but no luck.
Anderson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stantz manages to get himself to full guard.
Anderson slips nicely into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Stantz is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stantz pushes Anderson off looking to stand but Anderson dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but Stantz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Anderson to get the leverage.

Stantz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Anderson counters with a nice body kick.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Stantz clinches.
Stantz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Stantz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stantz has had enough of the clinch but Anderson keeps him there for the moment.

Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stantz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Anderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Stantz can't fight it off and eventually Anderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Stantz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stantz looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Stantz shows good takedown defense.

Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Stantz sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Anderson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Stantz is defending well though. Anderson let's go of the attempt for now.

I've got Anderson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
